The Company has zero tolerance for any form of violence, harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive behavior in the workplace. This policy has been prepared in accordance with Greek Law 4808/2021 and applies to all employees, associates, trainees, contractors, job applicants, and any individual connected with the Company.
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to prevent and address incidents of violence and harassment, promote equal treatment, protect employees’ dignity, and establish clear procedures for reporting and investigating complaints.
Scope
This policy applies to all work-related activities, including:
- Company premises and medical centers
- Business travel and work-related events
- Training sessions and meetings
- Company accommodation
- Work-related communications, including emails, telephone calls and digital platforms
- Travel to and from work when related to employment
Definitions
Violence and harassment include any behavior, action, threat or practice that causes or may cause physical, psychological, sexual or economic harm.
Examples include:
- Bullying and intimidation
- Verbal abuse and offensive language
- Sexual harassment
- Discrimination based on gender, age, race, religion, disability or sexual orientation
- Humiliating or degrading behavior
- Persistent unjustified criticism
- Offensive messages or inappropriate online communication
- Threats or abusive gestures
- Exclusion from the workplace without justification
Zero Tolerance
Cretan Medicare maintains a strict zero-tolerance approach toward workplace violence and harassment, regardless of whether the behavior originates from management, supervisors, employees, contractors, visitors or third parties. Every complaint will be treated confidentially, fairly and without retaliation against the person reporting the incident.

- Promoting a respectful and inclusive working environment
- Providing employee awareness and training
- Preventing discrimination and unequal treatment
- Encouraging early reporting of incidents
- Supporting victims through appropriate assistance
- Taking immediate corrective and disciplinary action where necessary
- Cooperating with competent authorities whenever required
Reporting Procedure
Employees or any person associated with the Company may report incidents of violence or harassment in writing, by email or by telephone.

All reports are investigated confidentially, impartially and promptly. Appropriate disciplinary measures may include written warnings, reassignment, suspension, termination of employment or referral to the competent authorities, depending on the severity of the incident.
